Happy belated New Year. 2007 was a good year for scheduletwo.com, and as is customary this time of year we are releasing a "Best of 2007" list. On it you will find some of our favorite videos we've shot and posted over the last 12 months. Featuring great bands like Andrew Bird, The Weakerthans, St. Vincent, Low, The Thermals, Grizzly Bear, and more. We look forward to making 2008 an even better year. Check the videos out here.

This one is kind of a milestone. We're posting 6 live videos from The Weakerthans' performance at The Triple Rock Social Club on September 25th, 2007. The first set of videos we ever posted were 4 videos from a John K. Samson performance in Winnipeg, where he played songs mostly off of the Weakerthans' then recent album "Reconstruction Site." Since then we've posted another 39 sets of videos, culminating in more than 200 videos. All of which are still available for viewing and downloading. Anyway. This show was on the night The Weakerthans' newest record 'Reunion Tour' came out, and was the official start of their tour. Songs featured include: Civil Twilight, Reconstruction Site, Night Windows, Left and Leaving, Pamphleteer, and Relative Surplus Value. Check them out.
Since the last news update we've also posted videos from The Rosebuds and Alpha Consumer. To stay on top of sets as they are posted, subscribe to our RSS feed.

Today we're posting 6 live videos of St. Vincent's performance at 7th Street Entry on July 5th, 2007. This set was just amazing and the videos have turned out stunningly. You will want to watch them again and again. Songs featured include: Now Now, Marry Me, Landmines, Bang Bang, Your Lips Are Red, and Paris Is Burning.
We've also recently posted videos from Breanne Durenberger. We first saw Breanne when she opened for Haley Bonar at the Whole way back in March. Had we brought extra tapes to that show we probably would have started filming Breanne mid-set. It was that impressive. Breanne is currently working on her first record, and it shows a lot of promise. We think you'll be hearing a lot more about this young emerging Minneapolis-based artist. And remember you heard it hear first!
If you haven't seen them yet check out the videos we've posted from Dosh and Eleni Mandell.

She'll be doing a solo tour in the fall, it is not to be missed!
Last week (that's right, two posts in two weeks!) we posted 4 videos from Dosh's opening set at the Andrew Bird show. The way he builds up these songs is absoultely astounding, you have to see it to believe it.

I don't know if you've noticed, but we really love Signal To Trust. like REALLY. We've just posted six new Signal videos from a show way back in June, featuring songs from their new record "Golden Armour." This record is easily the best local record of the year, no fooling. Watch the videos, love the songs, and buy the record for a measly $10 at Modern Radio
If that wasn't enough, we recently shot the Signal To Trust / STNNNG 4th annual Lunch Show. If everything works out like we hope, we may be releasing a super cheap DVD of the event sometime next year. That's right, a physical format.
Coming up: The Plastic Constellations, The Evening Rig, Sean Na Na, The Hold Steady, His Mischief, STNNNG, and Vampire Hands.

It seems we outgrew our old site. So we've put together this "temporary" site. That being said, our last "temporary" site ending up being "temporary" for a year and a half. Be that as it may, we think we (Julie[ nerdup.net]) did an amazing job!
Remember how we said we'd have Metric videos? Well, we dont! And we won't have Metric videos. ever. It wasn't our call we swear. Oh, and remember mc chris, and Christine Fellows? Hard drive failure. Whoops.
So what do we have to show you? New videos posted today from: Tapes 'n Tapes. July 22nd at First Avenue. That's right! Only FOUR months ago.
Coming up: The Plastic Constellations, Signal to Trust, The Evening Rig, Sean Na Na, The Hold Steady, His Mischief, STNNNG, and Vampire Hands.
